Ministry Leaders Certificate

Prerequisite: Actively serving in a leadership role in a Christian ministry or business. Spots are limited—enrollment is by application only.

Become masterfully trained in logic and evidence to help equip your church and circle of influence with science apologetics. Accepted applicants will receive a full scholarship.

Earning a certificate will qualify you to apply to our RTB Scholar Community as an apologist for ongoing training and support, while arming you with practical skills in apologetics. You’ll also gain a deep understanding of RTB’s biblical view of creation—one that demonstrates the powerful harmony between the Bible and science through testable predictions. Whether for personal growth, ministry, or teaching, earning a certificate equips you to apply Scripture and science in the real world.

If you’re a Christian leader in a church or business seeking well-researched answers to life’s big questions, exploring the relationship between God’s creation and his Word, and eager to share that knowledge in your ministry or community, then the Ministry Leaders Certificate is for you.

If you’re a student, educator, parent, or anyone passionate about exploring the intersection of science and faith, the General Science Apologetics Certificate is for you. You’ll gain practical, faith-filled tools to deepen your personal walk and confidently engage others for Christ.

The Ministry Leaders Certificate is by application only. You can begin the process through any “Register Now” button. Spots are limited and not all applicants will be accepted, so we encourage you to apply early.

Absolutely! As a graduate, you’ll be qualified to apply to a community of like-minded Christian leaders with ongoing access to resources, networking, and mentorship through Reasons to Believe. You won’t just earn a certificate, you’ll gain a network and tools to continue making a meaningful impact for Christ.

Reasons Institute courses follow the same academic standards used by leading Christian universities. You can expect about 3 hours per week of instruction (lectures and instructor interaction), along with 4–7 hours per week of study or fieldwork.

For-credit students should plan for approximately 64 hours of total engagement in 8-week courses and about 120 hours in 15-week courses. Time outside of instruction may vary depending on the course and its fieldwork requirements.

To get the most out of your learning experience, be sure to plan enough time each week for coursework and study.

Yes! Thanks to our generous donors, Reasons Institute offers a fully funded scholarship (a $2,800 value) for eligible students enrolling in the Ministry Leaders Certificate in Science Apologetics. The scholarship covers the full cost of the program. Students are only responsible for purchasing course materials at the beginning of each term, which may be reimbursed upon program completion.

To be eligible, students must be actively serving in a church leadership role or be a business leader with community influence, be 18 or older, and live in North America.
